1. The Malaysian Nuclear Agency formerly known as the Malaysian Nuclear Research Institute (MINT) is located in Bangi, Selangor to coordinate nuclear science and technology activities

2. Several factors have to be considered in operating a nuclear power station:

• fossil fuels such as coal, natural gas and petroleum will deplete and its cost will increase
• effect of pollution due to nuclear energy is less compared to fossil fuels
• the location to build nuclear power station must be strategic. 
  • must be near water resources to facilitate the cooling process
• the rate of energy production by nuclear power is much greater than that of fossil fuels
