What you need to learn in this chapter

In this chapter, we will be learning about trigonometric ratios. We will start by understanding how to identify the opposite side and adjacent side of an acute angle in a right-angled triangle. We will then make and verify conjectures about the relationship between acute angles and the ratios of the sides of right-angled triangles. This will help us define sine, cosine, and tangent. By the end of this chapter, we will be able to use these ratios to solve problems involving right-angled triangles.
