Mass

We will learn about the units of mass found in mathematics.

Mass units:

To convert kilograms to grams, you just need to multiply (\(\times\)) \(1000\).

For example:

\(80\text{ kg}\) to \(\text{g}\).
\(80\times1000\) \(=80\,000\text{ g}\)

To convert grams to kilograms, you only need to divide (\(\div\)) by \(1000\).

For example:

\(700\text{ g}\) to \(\text{kg}\).
\((700\div1000)=0.7\text{ g}\)
