Chapter 2 : Matter and Atomic Structure
What will you learn in this chapter

Next, we will explore the development of the atomic model, including the subatomic particles found in atoms and their relative mass and charge. We will also study the structure of the atom, including the proton number, nucleon number, and the number of electrons in an atom.
Lastly, we will learn about isotopes and their uses, including how to deduce their meaning and calculate the relative atomic mass of isotopes.
