They will also develop skills to express and respond to a range of emotions and opinions, such as happiness, sadness, surprise, and interest, enriching their communication with emotional depth.
Through activities that require organizing, sequencing, and developing ideas within short texts, students will strengthen their writing abilities, ensuring that their work is both coherent and meaningful. Attention to detail will be emphasized, with a focus on punctuating written work and spelling with moderate accuracy.
Students will also learn the process of drafting and revising their writing. They will create plans or drafts of two paragraphs or more, and modify these appropriately, either independently or based on feedback. This practice will help students build confidence in their ability to revise and improve their written communication.
