Next, we will learn about factorisation, which is the opposite of expansion. It involves breaking down expressions into their factors. We will also explore algebraic expressions and the laws of basic arithmetic operations. This includes understanding the meaning of expansion and algebraic expressions, as well as performing the expansion of two algebraic expressions. By the end of this chapter, we will be able to simplify and manipulate algebraic expressions confidently.
