Pie Chart
We will learn to interpret pie charts.
PIE CHART
Data representation using the area of the sectors in a circle.
To construct a pie chart, a circle is divided into different sectors according to the quantity of each data.
The corner size of each sector is proportional to the number of pupils represented by each sector.
EXAMPLE:
Steps to build a pie chart:
Step 1
Calculate the angle for each sector.
Step 2
Draw a circle and divide the circle into sectors according to the calculated angle values.
Step 3
Label the pie chart with the appropriate title and label the indicators for each sector.
