Chapter 4: Electromagnetism
What you need to learn in this chapter
In this chapter on Electromagnetism, we will be learning about the magnetic effect of a current-carrying conductor. We will understand how a current-carrying conductor interacts with a magnetic field and how to determine the direction of force using the pattern of the magnetic field.
Next, we will explore electromagnetic induction in both straight wires and solenoids. We will learn about the factors that influence the magnitude of induced electromotive force (d.g.e. induction).
Lastly, we will study transformers. We will understand the working principle of a simple transformer and learn about the concept of a superior transformer.
By the end of this chapter, we will have a solid understanding of the magnetic effect of current, electromagnetic induction, and transformers.
