In this chapter, we will learn about functions and quadratic equations in one variable. We will learn how to identify and describe the characteristics of a quadratic expression in one variable. We will also learn to recognize the quadratic function as a many-to-one relationship, and then describe the characteristics of the quadratic function. By understanding this chapter, we will be able to apply these concepts in solving mathematical problems involving functions and quadratic equations.
