  • Air is the basic need for living things. Hence, it is an important element on earth.

  • We are surrounded by air. Air also present in water and soil. 
 
  • Air consists of gases such as oxygen and carbon dioxide. 
 
  • The importance of air
 
1.  

Living things need oxygen for breathing. 
     
2.  

Plants need carbon dioxide in order to produce their own food
     
 
 

Moving air 
 
  • Air that moves is called wind.
 
  • The wind can give advantage and disadvantage to human's life. 
 
Advantages of wind:- Disadvantages of wind:-
  • Produce energy (Windmill & sail) 
  • Cools the surrounding temperature
  • Turbulence in the sea
