8.1  Coordinates in the first quadrant

The coordinates in the first quadrant mean the surrounding area is red.

Coordinates are numbers that describe the position of an object based on two axes, namely:

  • Horizontal axis
  • Axis Mencancang

Coordinates are read on the horizontal axis (columns) first followed by the vertical axis (rows).

For example: The rabbit is in the position of the column: A and row: 4.

Therefore the position of the rabbit is A4

  • Grids are used to express objects based on their position on the grid
  • 1 to 4 are on the vertical axis
  • A to E are on the horizontal axis
