Mathematics Chapter 7: Space
7.1 Chapter 7: Space
In this topic, an object that has the shape of a cuboid, cube, cone, pyramid, and sphere is used to understand three-dimensional and two-dimensional shapes.

7.1  Bentuk Tiga Dimensi
  • Three -dimensional (3D) shapes are shapes that have length, width and height.

The three-dimensional shapes are as in the table below.

Example of 3D Shape

Cube
Cuboid
Sphere
Pyramid
Cone
Cylinder

7.2  Bentuk Dua Dimensi
  • 2D is a shape that has one flat surface and not thick.

Example of 2D Shape

Square
Rectangle
Triangle
Circle

7.3  Penyelesaian masalah

Farid draws a rectangular shape. He calculates the number of vertices that the same square has.

How many corners will Farid draw?

The corners of a rectangle are marked with black arrows in the picture above.

So, there are four black arrows that mean a rectangle either four corners.

So the correct answer is the four corners that Farid will draw.
