Transfer of Sound Reflection and Absorption of Sound

 * Sound requires a medium to propogate.

 * Sound can propogate through solid, liquid and gas but not by vacuum

 * Sound is transferred very rapidly in solid, less rapidly in liquid and very slowly in gas

 * Sound can be reflected or absorbed when it hits the surface of an object

 * Hard and smooth surfaces are good sound reflectors

 * Soft and rough surfaces are good sound absorbers
