What will you learn in this chapter
We will start by learning how to measure area and volume.
Area is the size of a surface, and volume is the amount of space inside an object.
We will learn about the units used to measure area and volume.
To measure the area of regular surfaces, we can use a 1cm x 1cm square.
We will practice measuring the area of different objects using this square.
