Growth towards the direction of stimulus

Nastic Responses

Non-directional responses to a stimulus

Photonasty, seismonasty, nyctinasty, thermonasty & thigmonasty.

Seismonasty

A response that occurs due to a mechanical stimulus such as shock, touch, wind & raindrops.

Thermonasty

The response towards changes in the surrounding temperature.
