Exoskeleton found in insects and crabs

Hydrostatic skeleton in earthworms

Animals with soft tissues need this type of skeleton to maintain a rigid body shape

Mammals, reptiles, birds, fish and amphibians are vertebrates with endoskeletons

This type of skeleton helps to maintain body shape, support soft body tissues and protect internal organs from injury
