Sexual reproduction
Involves the production of male gametes and female gametes by individuals who have reached sexual maturity and are going through the process of fertilization
Components of the female reproductive system
Uterus, fallopian tubes, ovaries, vagina and cervix
Components of the male reproductive system
Testis, sperm duct, scrotum, seminal vesicles, prostate gland, urethra and penis

The female reproductive organ that produces the ovum (female gamete) and the hormones estrogen and progesterone
Fallopian tube (1)
A thin, muscular tube
Uterus
Organ with the thick muscular wall, rich in blood vessels and also a place of embryo implantation
Vagina
A canal where sperms enter and also serves as a passage for birth and menstruation.
Cervix
Narrow opening to the uterus which secretes mucus to help sperm swim up to the Fallopian tubes
