Atherosclerosis
Formation and deposition of plaque on the inner walls of arteries and is the early stage of arteriosclerosis

Hypertension
Causes fine arteries to rupture and patients can have a stroke if this happens in the brain

Angina
Severe chest pain due to lack of oxygen supply to the heart muscle
Myocardial infarction.
A heart attack is when an artery is completely clogged and causes no supply of oxygen to the heart muscle.
Plaque
Formed from cholesterol, lipids, dead muscle tissue and clotted platelets
Factors contributes to cardiovascular disease
Smoking habits, hypertension, obesity, high cholesterol levels, inactive lifestyle and diabetes
