Diabetes Mellitus
The patient’s body does not produce enough insulin or cannot use the insulin produced
Effect when blood glucose levels rise
Frequent urination, constant thirst, numbness in the soles of the feet, blurred vision, fatigue and slow healing wounds.
Hypoglycaemia
Occurs when blood glucose levels are very low

Patients experience hydration because they will get rid of a lot of urine and always feel thirsty

Adults will develop this disease if thyroxine secretion is insufficient
Hyperthyroidism
Refers to the condition that occurs if the secretion of thyroxine is too much
Gigantism
Abnormal bone elongation due to excessive secretion of growth hormone (GH)
Factors that cause dwarfism (1)
Low secretion of the growth hormone (GH) during the period of growth delays the growth of bones and causesdwarfism
