Endocrine system
Made up of glands that secrete chemical substances, that is hormones
Body coordination requires two systems to work together in maintaining homeostasis
The endocrine system and the nervous system have different functions yet they both interact and complement each other

Hypothalamus, pituitary gland, thyroid gland, adrenal gland, pancreas, ovary and testis
Pituitary gland
The main glands of the endocrine system because it secrete hormones that control the secretion of other endocrine glands
The pituitary gland is located at the bottom of the hypothalamus in the brain
