Food begins the journey of the digestive process

Stomach

Acts as a storage for the food to digest, also produces digestive enzymes and hydrochloric acid

Intestine

Two types of intestines, the small intestine and the large intestine

Small intestine

Thin long tube and it absorb most of the nutrients from what we eat and drink

Large intestine

Thick long tube and it absorbs water from wastes, creating stool

Pancreas

The pancreas releases digestive enzymes to complete the process of chemical digestion
